Polivalent Tooling (2005)


- Polyvalent Tooling technology for Flat Side Supports
– Polyvalent tooling technology for Shaped Side Supports


By this technology, we have developed some solutions:

A. “Polyvalent Tooling for Flat Side Supports”

The projects include pieces from this Polivalent Tooling with 8 different steps (16, 24, 32, 40, 50, 64, 80 and 107mm) and 23 different lengths, from 200 mm up to 800 mm, from 0,8 up to 1,2 mm thickness.

The alignment is as important as the tooling does it using a LASER ray.

Principal Savings:
- In design. The characterization of a new standard has allowed that the Side Support should not mean any cost in the design, only to fit this standard with the conjunct.
- In prototypes: The time for prototypes obtained with definitive means is of 2 weeks.
- In Time-to-Market: In this type of pieces, with shared and already existing design, time-to-market it has diminished to only approximately 2 weeks from the order.
- In Purchasing Process: There exists a standard drawing that serves for all the similar models, with a predictable CBD.
- In Toolings: An alone tooling makes several dozens of models.
- In new Toolings: If it is possible adapt to the drawing table, the cost of tooling is 0€.
- In Raw material. On not producing scrap, the cost of the Raw Material has diminished to the simplest form. So much it weighs, so much it costs.

B. “Polyvalent Tooling for Shaped Side Supports”

The following projects include pieces from this Polyvalent Tooling with just one step and 3 different lengths

The alignment is as important in the other technology and it uses a LASER Ray.

Principal savings are the same than last technology in design, in prototypes, in Time-to-Market, in new toolings and in Raw material.

Waved Tooling (2008)


- Polyvalent Tooling for “long shaped” Waved Side Supports


By this technology, we have developed some solutions:

The projects include pieces from this Waved Tooling with 5 different steps (26+wing,32, 50, 64 and 80 mm) and 8 different lengths, from 200 mm up to 800 mm, at 0.5 mm thickness Material.

The alignment is not as important as before.

Principal Savings:
- In design. The characterization of a new standard has allowed that the Side Support should not mean any cost in the design, only to fit this standard with the conjunct.
- In prototypes: The average time for prototypes obtained with definitive means is of only 2 days.
- In Time-to-Market: In this type of pieces, with shared and already existing design, time-to-market it has diminished to only approximately 1 week from the order.
- In Purchasing Process: There exists a standard drawing that serves for all the similar models, with a predictable CBD.
- In Toolings: An alone tooling makes several dozens of models.
- In new Toolings: If it is possible to adapt to the drawing table, the cost of tooling is 0 €.

SSOS technology (2010)


- “Several Steps One Strike” Tooling Polyvalent tooling for 3D shaped Side Supports.


By this technology, we have developed some solutions:

With this tooling, a infinity of length models could be able to be made from 100 mm without limit of length.

It has as innovation that allows to realize several figures simultaneously, in the same strike, with several hundredth parts of second of difference between a phase and the following on the same zone of the piece, and is an evolution based on both previous technologies.

The alignment is not as important.
